Having learned the materials in Session 4, now please discuss the following questions.
- How would you explain the difference between a business email and a business letter?
- Imagine you are a head of HR in the company. Write a short memo to your staff in your department stating that there will be mandatory CPR training on upcoming Friday at 3pm.
For question 1, you can answer either in English or Indonesian.
For question 2, you must write in English.
1. -Business email is an email address that ends in the domain name of your company, business or agency after the '@' symbol. Generally, the function of a business-specific email address is for internal communication, integration of performance support tools, and corporate branding.
- Business letter is a type of letter that serves as a written communication tool to convey various business and work goals. The goals also vary from statements, agreements, invitations, information, and much more. Usually this Business Letter is made by a company and sent by another company, both to clients and stakeholders.
